  1. Version 3.00 is a very major revision.  MENUBOOT now works in graphics mode
  2. giving 3D boxes et al, and requires a minimum of a VGA card to run.  All
  3. graphics routines were programmed by Alex Brown, and are his copyright.
  4. MENUBOOT is now capable of blanking config.sys, and has many more options for
  5. text appearance.  The timeout delay has been changed to be a rolling delay
  6. rather than a static one.  A utility has been included to allow config.sys to
  7. be displayed from the command line (MENUTEST.EXE).  Source code has increased
  8. from 64Kb of assembler to 110Kb at last count.  I have learnt to spell
  9. chiselled...

  11. This is very much an interim release of the graphical version, many more things
  12. were planned but time pressure has prevented their completion.  I hope to
  13. release another version within a couple of months incorporating many more
  14. features (see the end of the documentation file for details).  Unfortuanately,
  15. the price has also had to increase with this version due to the inclusion of
  16. another programmer on the team, and him needing paying as well!!!  All
  17. registered users can obtain a free update by sending me a floppy disk (3.5"
  18. preferrably).
